Being human can be pretty messy, relationships can be pretty messy, and life can be pretty messy at times.
When we can learn to embrace our human messiness with gentleness and forgiveness, we can learn to heal the parts that have created obstacles to self-acceptance, living wholeheartedly, and authentically finding a sense of fulfillment in all of our relationships — especially the one with ourselves.
I work with adults to heal past trauma that often manifests in complex issues like depression, anxiety and self-doubt, and creates negative beliefs about oneself, others and relationships. In being seen wholly, my clients are empowered to create the positive changes in their thoughts and behaviors necessary for deeper connection and fulfillment in their lives and relationships.
As a couples therapist, I help my clients create a deeper understanding of themselves and each other, and provide the tools to create Re-connection, Intimacy, Self-awareness and Empowerment (RISE) for a lasting relationship rooted in safe emotional connection, forgiveness and acceptance.
Unfortunately, there are times when it’s not so much about healing the relationship, but finding the path that feels right for each individual, whether together or separate. In those cases, I help to guide my clients through the painful process of separation in a mindful way that honors the relationship and each other.
My unique integrative approach to the therapeutic process is rooted in partnership and blends holistic and clinical modalities to honor the connection between mind, body and spirit — to help you see and understand yourself from a more connected and whole perspective. I believe when we learn to replace the lens of negative self-beliefs with one created from empathy, forgiveness and self-acceptance, we create a ripple effect in all of our relationships and inspire others to do the same.
Some of the modalities I use in my practice to guide you through your healing are EMDR, ART (Accelerated Reprocessing Therapy), EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness practices, Breath work, Inner Child Healing and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy). Depending on your specific goals and needs, we’ll work together to create the strongest weave for your success.
